Our Mission Statement
Welcome to PantherDining, a unit of Auxiliary and Support Services. Georgia State Panthers, our customers, are important to us and it is our sincere desire to serve fresh food in a friendly manner with pleasant surroundings. Consistent with Auxiliary and Support Services’ mission, we strive to positively impact the quality of campus life through professionalism, excellence and caring in our operation.
Georgia State University’s first in-sourced dining operation began in the Fall of 2008 with the establishment of a pizzeria style dining establishment called Panther’s Den. During this time, PantherDining broadened its services with Concessions at the GSU Sports Arena as well as catering events around campus. This inspired progression as PantherDining soon expanded to constructing its first dining hall, Freshman Dining Hall (now called Patton Dining Hall), in the Fall of 2009. By the Fall of 2011, PantherDining expanded yet again with a second dining hall, Piedmont North Dining Hall. PantherDining expanded yet again in January of 2014 with the opening of Centennial Café. Currently, we service close to 2,500 meal plans with students and only plan to continuing growing along with Georgia State.
